20V swap in the AW11? You already know the coolant routing is a headache.
The 20V head doesn't plumb up the same way as the factory 16V, and with the engine sitting mid-ship, you've got coolant running the length of the car to deal with. Most swappers end up piecing lines together from whatever fits, hoping the routing doesn't end up cooked by exhaust heat or kinked somewhere inaccessible.
We built this kit to make it a bolt-on. It uses the stock oil cooler routing to keep everything clean, simple, and well away from exhaust heat. The stock fill neck is reused so you've got easy access to replacement pressure caps, and the stock transmission return line stays in place too. The only line this kit really solves for is the feed line to the head — which is the one everyone struggles with.
The silicone hose is top-quality, built for the kind of temps an engine bay throws at it:
- Material: VMQ silicone (Vinyl Methyl Quality)
- Temperature range: -60°C to +180°C (-76°F to +356°F)
- Wall thickness: 4.2mm
- Reinforcement: 3-ply polyester
You can also round out the cooling system with a few add-ons at checkout — a new filler cap or a universal overflow tank if you want to complete the build in one order. If you're deleting the oil cooler or need coolant bleed hoses, make sure to grab those too.
